The materials contained in this section include the Study Guides that are available for each of the modules presented during the second stage of formation, the Candidacy Stage.   Each module is designed to deepen the participant’s knowledge of a topic addressed in the Inquiry Stage or present new information in a way that builds upon those previous experiences.   

Each Study Guide describes the purpose of the module and invites the participant into a form of Prayer/Contemplation before further preparation begins for the session.   A reading assignment and questions to think about before attending the session is given for Study purposes.  Suggestions about how the activities will strengthen the Community and Apostolate pillars of Dominican life are also provided. 

Committed attention to each Study Guide will help the Candidate step more consciously into the discernment process within the Dominican group.  It will help him/her grow spiritually before, during, and after the actual session.
